It's a really handy device to have. Great for both MSN messengers, and writing messeges to XBL friends. However, it does weigh the controller down a bit. Overall...worth it!
I was tempted but then didn't think I'd use it that much. It's great if you want to regularly type a lot of stuff out in messages, but why not just invite the person to private chat, or record a 15 second message? You can say more in 15 seconds than you can type.
