Is the elite really worth it?

Hello future xbox 360 companions,

I had already made a decision that I would buy the Xbox 360 Elite in August. Today I was talking to my friend that owns a Xbox 360 Premium and he said he has lots of HD space left over. So it left me to wonder, is the xbox 360 elite really worth it if people with the Premium ahve no space problems? I can buy a HDMI cable pretty cheap too..Pplease leave your arguments and opinions and I would appreciate it. :)

I think the elite comes with and HDMI cable.

Is your tv HDMI compatible, with 1080p? and if you take advantage of the content downloadable on xbox live disk space is or will be a problem (demos, expansions, VMP) and do you already have a 360?

Brother why are you rushing and trying to buy it so soon. I mean are you looking for your machine to start dying on you?

Why don't you have patience and wait till October when this 65nm chip will be installed in the machines. Because right now it's just a risk that your taking. I'm personally waiting till October and thats when I'm buying my Elite. In the meantime I'm gonna get some games and accessories.

But of course it's your choice so buy it next month if you want.

I only go to the US once in a while, I live in Brazil, the xbox console with all the taxes that they charge here sells for ..believe it or not over 800 dollars for a premium. So I will take this opportunity before I go to Europe to buy my NTSC xbox 360..:)

Questio: If my xbox 360 breaks after october, will they set the new chip when they fix it?

October is the speculated month where alot of people including myself believe they will be out. And to answer your question of course it would have to contain the chip. If they didn't put it in thats basically cheating the customer, I don't think Micro would be that dirty.
