Is the new price drop permanent?

Some stores in my area are advertising a $50 price drop on all 360 consoles. I was wondering if it was permanent only a limited time offer?

Why is everyone saying $250 for Premium?? Premium was always $399 in Canada & the US, with a $50 drop its now $349. Futureshop has it for $349 bundled with Turok, but it seems like a limited time offer.
