I'm planning on moving my 360 up into my room and I was thinking of saving up for the networking adaptor so I can play on Live. Is this a good, working adapter? or should I use another wireless adapter?

It works great! Good thing too... it's your only option.

It works amazing. You plug it in the back, input your network stuff, including WEP if you have a secured network. Then it will start working. Perfect signal all the time for me. Then again I'm on the same floor as the router and it's basically 30 feet away from me.. lol I just used to use an ethernet cable but the network adapter was on sale for 80 bucks on boxing day..

I'm sure it works fine, but it's too expensive. Get a wireless bridge or even one of the dedicated gaming adapters....you can use them on more than just the 360 and probably get it for half the price.

okay, you get the network, but it in the back of your console via usb. You go to netwok settings, edit settings, scroll down, and there is a list of available routers, you pick one, ant it connects, that simple!

Other than being your only option if all you got to go on is Wi-Fi it works fine. If you ever had a laptop with Wi-Fi then you should be able to understand its strengths and weaknesses of the wireless adaptor.

I was hesistant at first but I just bought my wireless networking adapeter a week ago. It was very easy to set up and I get a good signal from downstairs in my room, my router (Linksys WRT54G) is upstairs. I get the best signal in any game I play. Defaintly a $100 well spent. (well kinda, I always did wish the 360 had built in wireless like the ps3...)

The wireless networking adapter works great. just plug it into the back of your 360. I haven't had any problems with it. No long messy cables to deal with either.

This is (by far) the best advice in this thread. There are much better methods of getting your 360 online that don't involve using an overpriced MS add-on. Why people keep insisting that the MS adapter is the only route (or even the prefered route) for get Wi-Fi on the 360 is a complete mystery to me. There are much better and cheaper solutions.
