As in of the same genre. Just started playing it. Haven't played a better recent AAA of any genre.

@olafsteelside: I bought and finished the GOTY edition, and they still hadn't fixed all the bugs in the game.
If I were you I would back up my saves every chance you got, because I got a corrupted save 5 times by the time I had finished it :(
@i_p_daily: I think the save on that one may even be greyed out so I have to keep repeating. Also, I can only seem to travel to where I already am which is silly.
I've always preferred Elder Scrolls to Fallout personally, so if you count them as the same genre considering they're open-ended WRPG's(although the similarities end there of course), then I guess I'd say that Oblivion and Skyrim beat NV for me.
@olafsteelside: Yeah the game still has a heap of bugs, some funny ones and some really annoying ones. When you save just save the game in 5-10 slots. It is annoying to keep doing it that way all the time, but it's even more annoying when you lose 20hrs of gameplay.
As for the game itself, I found it a little boring once I was about 50hrs into it, and thought F3 was better.
It's fantastic overall though I probably enjoyed the original Fallout 3 better. In terms of standalone RPG games, Dragon Age Origins is probably my favorite from last Gen.
@olafsteelside: I never tried Fallout New Vegas so I'll take your word on it,but just curious, why didn't you wait a little bit longer and get Fallout 4 instead??Like I said, I'm just curious??
Ghost recon advanced warfighter
That was a good game as well, never got a chance to finish GRAW but I did complete GRAW 2.
Honestly, Fallout: NV was the last game I put a substantial amount of time into--100+ hours. It is tough to find something that I enjoyed so much, that's why I am so excited for Fallout 4.
Maybe I am the only one that thinks that NV is better than Fallout 3?
