Is there a powercord for the 360 that doesn't have the brick in the middle?

I have an older version of the 360 (not the slim), and I was wondering if there is a powercord that I can buy that doesn't have that giant powerbrick in the middle. Anyone know of one?

That brick is very important, it even got a huge heatsink and a fan in it.

No, unlike the PS3, the 360 needs an external AC adaptor to reduce core temperature.Black_Knight_00

Was the PS3 reference really necessary? And no every powercord has the brick because like everyone else said, it's very important

Hmm, I guess this explains why my PS3 gets so much hotter than my 360.

Yeah with the 360 the Power Supply is on the outside of the system to keep the temperature down inside a tight case. The other HD console has their PS inside the console like a laptop so you just need a universal type plug.

The 360S' (Slims)do have a smaller power brick than the older systems, and they don't seem to get as hot as the older 360s one. It's more like a Printer Power Brick than an actual brick.

Chill man, I was just explaining why the 360 has the brick and the PS3 doesn't. Don't see trolling where there's none.

every 360 cord has a brick some are smaller in length then older ones though

and like others have said since ms made it pretty much impossible to go without the brick it is a necessity for the 360

If you did manage to use one that didn't have a brick, your xbox would probably melt / combust. Yes you must fear the superbrick because without it, your 360 will die. (Quicker)
