Is there any way to change what tab NXE starts on? For instance when I turn on the Xbox360 it always takes me to the 'Spotlight' tab, and I would like to change it so it will start at the 'My Xbox' tab instead. Does anyone know how to do this?
Yeah I think 'My Xbox' would be a better choice. There's the square on 'Spotlight' that acts kind of like a bookmark. When you press a trigger it'll take you there. It should be able to be changed.

I agree. We need to be able to select what tab it starts on. I would prefer My Xbox because it makes it quicker for me to start the game if I can just turn on the Xbox and go.

cos it makes things a little easier. maybe people want to choose one of their games or friends straight away instead of looking what videos are on xbl of some crappy upcoming movie.
i personally dont find it hard to press up on the joystick once to get to my xbox......really not a hard task. If you set your xbox so it doesnt sign you in automatically you will start on my xbox but then of course you have to sign in and if pressing up seems hard then this will be much harder.

it is easy but it isn't the point of presssing up. it is kind of like advertising new movies that r coming out. i want it to start at my xbox.
Yeah this annoys me too, it's not that pressing up is "hard" it's just the principle of being forced to look at loads of ads every time you turn on your console. It should let you start on My Xbox.

I always just hit the 'X menu' button right off to start my games or find something to play... But yes I wish it didn't load like this either... It like having windows always start by loading the "Welcome to Windows XP dialog" with no option to turn it off.
I think that would be a great change in the next update. I feel like we should be able to make it whatever tab we want (Like when twitter, facebook, last.fm come..we should be able to set these as the main tabs when starting up the xbox)
This is the one gripe I have with consoles is the lack of customization with EVERY setting. But nonetheless, its not the end of the world to push up on the dpad to get where I need to go.
