You can purchase an ethernet cable to go from your router to your xbox

This works argubably better than the wireless adapter as well and is a lot less expensive

Hope this helps :)

Get a $5 ethernet cable, it is a better connection as well than a wireless one.

Plus, if you were looking at wireless that meant you have a wireless router, so you are set for a wired connection

Yeah that's what I do just use the cable that comes with the Premium. Or if you have to have wireless you could find one of the Linksys wireless gaming routers, and there have even been stories of the wireless adapter for the original Xbox will work with the 360 and you can find it on amazon for $45 I think.

DON'T pay $100 for a slower connection, if you bought a pro sku it came with a CAT 5 cable.

It doesn't matter how long the cable is. But if you are set on wireless, you have no other choice than paying 100 bones.

You can also buy a Wireless bridge instead of the 360 Wireless adaptor, although prices vary, so you might just be better off to buy the adaptor if you use wireless.

Shop around though.

Ethernet cable comes in 100metre rolls, which you can cut to length and fit the plugs. I don't think there is any real limit on how long you can get them, though the longest pre-made I've seen for sale was 30m.

for everyone saying to plug in an ethernet cable, have you considered that maybe he made this thread because his 360 is far away from his PC? You are being no help to him.

Unfortunately, the easiest option is the adapter. Ms really needs to drop the price on that thing.

The only thing with wireless is that it has a higher chance of causing lag. That is why I prefer the use of an ethernet cable hooked up to a router. Sure a good long lasting allperformance router can run u aout the same price as the XBOX 360 adapter, but think of it this way...you get more use out of it. If you have other devices such as a PC, laptop, a Wii, etc., then you can hook those up as well. So simply I recommend buying yourself a router and an ethernet cable. In the long run it is better.
