I was just curious if there was going to be a mechassault 3? Microsoft owns the rights to the mechwarrior games and i know they are not planning on MW5 any time soon, if ever.. I just don't want the battletech videogames to die out. Maybe they will milk a little money out of it for the 360. Mechassault 3 would be better than haveing no battletech games at all.

Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf was good. If they did more of the same with a more sandboxey feel and all the fandangles u can get into a game using the 360 I think it'd be good. but they might not make one sicne its more of a cult following game. I use cult cos i can't think of any other way to describe it. *shrug*

I agree with what you say about cult following, but theres got to be enough mech lovers out there with all the armor cores and gundums to give the game a little love. There are some die hard mechwarrior fans who hate the mechassault games, but i bet they would try out a good one. has to have great multiplayer and big maps, maybe a little customization, at least mw4 level.

Armoured Core and Gundam are different groups entirely though, that's the thing. And the only thing the Mechwarrior games had going for them IMHO was the customization stuff. Mix that with Mechassault and you'd have a good mix.
