Theres no real ending, meaning theres still room for a plot. Furthermore theres 3 carmine brothers and you've only seen 2. There were some more hints in the game pointing towards a sequel but I kinda forgot them (been 2 weeks since I completed the game)

That was never actually said. They never announced a trilogy for Gears. Saying that, I can only assume there will be a Gears 3 due to two things: The story is open to be finished and the huge success of the franchise.

as long as there are a surplus of stupid ppl willing to pay $65 for the same game over and over again, I dont think there will ever be an end to repetitive games like this and halo. (oh yeah, thats right, i said it :)
