Theres currently a deal on play.com, where you can get a premium 360 with 3 games (GeOW, Forza 2 and Crackdown) for £299.99. Is this a good deal?

That sounds like a great deal. I would definitely go for it.

The regular console by itself is 280 pound.

Then you get all those games.

Thats a great deal considering the usual rrp for the premium console on its own is about £279.99. I have seen deals for the Premium console plus 2 games for around £279.99 ( Forza 2 & GoW from Sendit.com - not sure if offer still available), so you could go for this & maybe buy another prefered game seperately.
