My friend is selling me his Xbox 360 pro with 2 controllers, gears of war, call of duty 1 and 2, viva pinata, and a couple other games I cant think of. He's offering to sell it for $550, is this a good deal? I also know it's in good condition and is working properely.
I dont think so. considering Pro package is what 400? and games used are almost worth nothing in stores anymore (depending on where you go) .. I wouldnt do that package for 550... maybe 450 cuz that stuff isnt worth that much used.
Well lets break it down. This is approximately how much those things would cost, if purchased new. Xbox 360 pro :$400, 1 controller (other comes with 360): about $50, gears of war: $60, call of duty 1: its gonna be pretty hard to find, but lets say it is $10, call of duty 2: $20, viva pinata: $30, other games: $40. I took all of these prices from the bestbuy site. and the grand total is: $610. However, you have to remember that these prices are for new games, etc. These are all used and so worth less. I would check everything out before you buy and see if there is a lot of wear and tear on the games and the system.Â

that depends.. if he's in canada, the premium is $499 (which is BS) Â thus making this an alright deal..
are u from canada or australia??if not no this is not a good deal. if u are from america then tell hem $500 or no deal. if he tries to sell it to gamestop hem wouldin't even get $400
I'm from the US, and one of the other games I forgot to mention was Crackdown. Do you think if i talked him into selling it for $500 i'd be be getting a better deal?
