I'm picking it up tomorrow morning for the price you see at the bottom.

I saw that and figured

Max resolution 1600x900

Was talking about contrast ratio and response time, but im guessing they are the normal average for that price,

Though is the 1 vga slot it? no dvi or anything? That would suck a little. Especialy if you wanted to have your comp and xbox hooked up to it.

Also, I would seriously get a monitor with both DVI and VGA because if you're using it for your computer you'll want DVI.

This thread is probably better suited for the audio/video hardware discussion forums, but at any rate, the monitor has a DVI input, so you should be good to go. 8)

I'm assuming, since you put this in the 360 forums, that you're planning on playing a 360 on it. You'll need a DVI-to-HDMI cable for that. Granted, you're not gonna be able to get sound through the monitor's speakers with such a cable, either. It would've been better to find a monitor with an HDMI input.

If you're not going to play your 360 on it, then disregard what I just said.

I plan on using it for both my PC and 360. My PC will plug into the DVI port and my 360 into the VGA. I'm lucky enough to have a graphics card that supports DVI

I have my pc hooked up by vga and it looks the exact same as it does hooked up with dvi. (gaming rig at 1920x1080) I think dvi only matters if your resolution is extremely high.
