Is this a good monitor for my 360?

I got my 360 back from the repair centre in only 5 days. Sent it Oct. 22nd I'm picking it up from purolator on Monday. :D So I wanna get a new monitor for the great games coming out soon. What do you think of that monitor?

The resolution is certainly high enough but it's not HD. Still the price is fantastic - though it's sold out. Buy if you don't care too much bout HD etc.Alexis_Fire

Eh you don't know what you are talking about man. That monitor definately is "HD". 1680x1050, o ok yea not HD...

I'd say go for it, great deal! 1680x1050 isn't a natively supported resolution by the 360 but I have a 1680 x 1050 HP monitor and it looks absolutely awesome through VGA. Hurry up before the sale ends and they're out of stock!:P

Yeah I know. Was a stupid post lol. I thought it was an LCD (just assumed it) and as soon as I saw no HD in the title that was it. Two seconds after realising what I'd just said about the resolution (i.e. well above 480P) but I can't edit my post nor canI quote either.

Yeah - I've been looking for a nice new TV for myself and I've been scanning google for a bit now trying to pickout HD or HDTV or blah etc. After a while I just end up reading in HDs.

As I mentioned early though I think it's sold out which sucks. I found a really nice model complete with freeview and HDMI sockets so I'm happy.

The monitor sold out? That's just the ones that are available online, you can check per store on the site if they have them.

If i was going to buy a monitor, I would surely spend more on it, buy a HD monitor, even better buy a HDTV!

Did you not read my comment? Pretty much every monitor now is "HD". Even playing 360 on my super old 15" CRT through VGA looks a lot better than SD, so please, if you don't know what you're talking about, just don't talk lol.

And to the guy that suggested newegg, I'm pretty sure they don't ship to Canada, cause if he is linking from Futureshop he probably lives in Canada.
