Is this a good time to buy an Xbox360?

Picked up a slim a few months ago and it's been running like a dream. It's a great time to get into the gaming scene. I originally sold my old box for a PS3 after having 3 RROD but I can't say enough good things about the Xbox 360 slim. Great system. Great times.

Yes it is. Alot of good, cheap games out right now as well.

Yes, buy one now and aim for the slim.

Personally, I'd wait until after e3 to see whatMShas in store. The exclusives haven't been dropping all that frequently lately so I'd wait to see if there are any big games on the horizon that you'll really want to play. If not, and you don't already see a ton of exclusives on the 360 you like, I'd wait and weigh my options.

I think as long as you can get $50 credit along with your purchase you're good to go. I think Kmart has that deal going on too, but like someone else said try Amazon first.

It's a great time to buy one, you probably won't regret your purchase. All the older classic games are pretty cheap by now so you can fill up your library pretty quickly. Plus they have some really new releases that everyone is excited about like LA Noire (though you can get it on PS3 as well), Gears of War 3 (make sure you play the first two), and Elder Scrolls: Skyrim.

Absolutely! Get a brand new one if you can. There's quite a decent back catalogue of brilliant games, plus some highly anticipated ones in the near and not too distant future. Happy gaming!

don't buy x360. it has no games. buy ps3. you will have a blu ray player and free online...and games. there is a reason why ps3 outsold x360 by 2.3 million in 2010. despite slim launch, halo reach and kinect launch.emilkostovic

Yeah, having to plug in a console every time I feel like I want to play an old game is really confortable.

Ummm, 360's are going anywhere for a long time. If it breaks, ebay will probably be flooded with them considering people sell theirs when new gens come along. And google "hdmi selectors" and you'll get a list of different ones.
