Yeah that's good. If you wanted to know if its good for hosting games, you need to know the upload speed. Anything over 200-300kbps seems to work decently for hosting.

thats a pretty damn good connection, especially since you have that much on just your DOWNLOAD speed, so really, your upload speed is decent. i myself just share connection offf of a wireless card from verizon, and its near fiber optic speed.

I have Charters 10mbps/1mbps up plan, I download at 1.3MB/s and my upload is about 137 KB/s. You can host anything, just hopefully your cable company has good ping rates.
