I was trying to get internet for my 360, but it hasn't gone well. First I tried using a cable, but I didn't have one long enough, then I tried using my wireless (pc) adaptor, but learned that doesn't work. Now I want to try to run my 360 internet through my wireless computer adaptor (which is still plugged into the pc). Is this possible? Can I hook up my 360 to my computer and get internet from it in this manner?

Yup, you can connect your 360 to the internet through your pc. Just go to Youtube and they'll show you how. It's very easy.

If the device you are using uses a Wireless Connection, then yes. So long as you have the networks password and the sharing settings turned on.

If you connect the xbox to a device that is ALREADY connected to another computer that uses a connection (wireless or not), its doubtful. Worst comes to the worst, you can pick up a 360 Wireless Adapater. Bought £55 or $110 though.

The way i use to do this is just buy a crossover cable plug it into the computer and xbox then go to start-->control panel-->network and internet connections-->network connections, then just highlight the ethernet port your xbox 360 is connected to and the wireless connection, once both are highlighted right click and click bridge connections and you should have internet on both devices now. O and thats for windows xp, i dont know how it works for vista.

The bridge didn't work for me when I did it. What I had to do was go to network connections and then right click on my computer's wireless internet connection, and go to Properties and then I beleive you click on Advanced, and then enable internet sharing. You should be good to go after that.
