The biggest Harddrive for the Xbox 360 is the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 bundle which came with a 250GB Harddrive. And no, you can't just buy the 250GB Harddrive alone. And no, I don't think there any more (Unless you found it on Ebay) bundles around. So yeah, he's a liar.

First of all... $30 dollars? It cost $100 plus to repair a RRoD or other Error on the Xbox when out of Warranty. You think Microsoft would just "upgrade" his Xbox for $30? And even so, we all know that it would have to be a harddrive, there would never be that much internal memory.

If Microsoft finds out that you've modded your system they wouldn't fine you, because that would be illegal (At least I think it is), they would just ban you.

darn so i guessl, i shouldnt use it :(
I dont think it is bannable due to the fact that your HDD or the console itself has no connections to xbl only modding multiplayer games or ones that have any use for xbl will give you a ban. But by modding a console you do void your warranty and the ability to send it into ms for repairs even ones that require payment.

It is moddable, have you been living in a cave? because just a month ago Microsoft have been rambling on about how they are banning everyone with anything connected to their Xbox that has been modded.
