Just wondering if you think this is not good for the xbox. I mean, it seems to be fine, but what would you do?

Dude, get that monitor off the 360 first of all. Next you need to move the system away from the walls, it needs room to breathe!!!

For overheating purposes I'd move it, if not just because of the weight & stress the tv might cause on the chasey (SP?)

Ya, I know all about the 360s breathing problems, but mine just seems so sturdy. I like to just think of it as one of those tiny dells that have flatscreens that can sit on top of them. But, I guess we're not really talking about a dell here are we? No way, with three processors, 360s just get hot. I just wish I could do this safely. I'm not going to lie, I'm paranoid. That's why I posted these pictures.

I have an idea, put your 360 vertical, and balance your TV on the hardrive ;) Actually though, I would just move the 306 forward, and have the TV sitting a little behind it.

Considering all the alleged over-heating problems the X-Box 360 has had, I would suggest not placing a heat source like a television on your 360.

You just dont put a TV/monitor or anything for that matter on the Xbox 360. You can have the Xbox 360 standing vertical between those two displays. Or have it sit up front. Dont mean to be rude, just worried about your system. And no, it isnt safe. :P

Yea i dont even feel comfortable letting a CD sit on top my 360 while its running, much less my monitor its hooked up to. I say take the monitor off of it ASAP. Dont put the monitor behind the system like people are saying. That will oobscure your view and also the back of the 360 is hottest spot and the monitor would be suffocating the system while also getting blasted by the hot air the fans are pushing out the back.

you need to change your setup ASAP..

first of all: remove the cigarette. smoking is bad for your console. even if its a chocolate one.

2nd give me the dollar..

3rd find a better place for the TP.

4th remove the monitor. its not ment to be ontop of your console.

Of course its not safe, you have your TV monitor sitting on top of your 360.....Not a great idea.

If you do not move it now, your 360 may be broken. Who knows, it has most likely will suffer long term damage as well.

How long have you had it like that?

do me a favor remove the monitor from the top of your 360 and let your 360 stand while playing because it lets more air out therefore no overheating and you should be fine

Actually that should be fine. The 360 'breathes' from the ends of the console, not the sides. You're tv doesn't produce heat on the 'stand' part of the tv, so technically nothing bad should happen.

It MIGHT be ok, but I would try and move your PC monitor to the left a little, then place the 360 vertical on the right side of the desk with the TV to the left of it. The 360 wouldn't obstruct your view and you could still use the PC and 360 at the same time. Might have to move the stuff between the PC and TV though. And pull the 360 as far forward as you can from the wall, just to be safe.

Also, can I borrow a dollar. C'mon don't say you don't have it.

And people...he could have a runny nose, MAYBE that explains the TP on the desk.

MAYBE.

I don't think it's good to have the t.v on top of the 360 it's better to be somewhere more safer.

Firstly, I'd put it Vertical. The 360 has more room to 'breathe' that way, as the sides have contact with cooler air. As we all should know, the left/bottom side is where the motherboard is fixed which gets extremely hot, hence RRoD.

If you're that adament about having it horizontal, either position it between the monitors or put it in front of a monitor.

Nice, I dig the Sig. Chrono Crusade FTW. But yeah I agree with this cat. You want to let your 360 breathe, and not squash it.

Get a bucket of water, submerge the 360 in it

Take some sandpaper and clean off your screen

Put some super glue in the controller button and thumb stick spaces

Put your games in the microwave for about 5 minutes

and lastly, use a hammer to turn your Xbox off
