Ok i have a wirless control and i have gone through countless AA batteries with how many batteries i have gone through i could have bought a brand new xbox game or controler. Its cool not to have a wire to worry about but the money adds up.

Get the Plug-and-Play pack or the Quick Charge pack.  You'll spend more at first, but you will definitely save money in the long run.

The quick charge plugs into electrical outlets. I use it and just swap battery packs when needed. It recharges the batteries pretty fast.

It is only like a wired controller when it is plugged in and charging. When it's done charging or when you just dont want the wire with some battery in it, you can take the cord thing out of the top of the controller and play wireless with a charged battery
