i prefer to buy games which have a very long single player playing time... 40 hours or more even they have low gamer scores as long as i get my money's worth.

MICROSOFT POINTS are the things that you buy DLC (Downloadable content) with. Gamerscore is the value of the achievements that you've unlocked.

that would be pretty cool though, for every X amount of GP you get, you get Y amount of MP, as an incentive

Yeah, but than they'd make the achievements a ****load harder to get. I mean, if you thought completing Gears on insane or getting 'The Mile High Club' achievement was hard before, imagine if M$ was gonna lose money if you get them. But it would definitely be cool if they could incorporate that while keeping the achievement difficulty.
