No, because ever since I got ny HDTV, no matter what settings my system is on, I just get a blank screen. No, it's not the TV because I exchanged it for an unrelated problem.
I have played about 5 movies in mine (if that) so I normally do not use it for watching movies. Unless my dvd player isn't hooked up I will use that or my ps2.
No. My HTPC is my main DVD player. If I didn't have that then I would use a dedicated player. I don't wish to put any unnecessary wear and tear on my consoles.
No, just myPlaystation 3 for Bluray and DVD's (what? a Xbox 360 main has a ps3 yes I have one:D Xbox 360 I prefer pure gaming only!
if i get a dvd from friend... i think they a waste of money
but why spend money on two devices when one dose it all?
unless you have a dvd/blue ray player that be different. but then again why would you buy blue ray when you can spend few more bucks for a ps3 lol

Because I've already had one 360 optical drive die on me.
Yes, it is currently. I have a dvd player but the speakers it is attached to are not working all that great, the tv speakers work better.
Don't really buy DVD's, I just use Netflix.Logan1616
but not all movies stream online, sometimes you gotta actually order dvds from Netflix.
and yes I use my Xbox360 as my main dvdplayer. and like Logan, i mostly just use Netflix streaming on my xbox. I have the Universal media remote for watching netflix and dvds, works great, and is quicker than using a 360 gamepad.
Yes I do, the 360 has a very good DVD player. My surround sound unit also plays DVD's but due to the fact its running off a crappy phono lead I only use it for the sound.
I feel the same wayGiven the systems overall fragility, whether it is real or assumed, I just use it for gaming.

Yeah. The picture looks better with the 360. I think it uprezes. It helps since I use an HD tv. Watching DVDs on my normal DVD player looks significantly worse.vashkey
I dont know if its true but apparently the new s model boasts upscaling although I cant see much difference on mine. I would buy a blu-ray player but I would rather spend £3-£5 on standard DVD's from play or amazon than the best part of £20 for blu-ray discs. Dont get me wrong I know what the picture is like on blu-ray but it does not justify the price tag. Technology is moving so fast that as soon as you buy something its obsolete. I mean HD is finally up and now well supported and now they want us tobuy for 3-D tv's. I think I will wait untill blu-ray has finally taken on and well supported with titles and a bit of a price drop. And as for renting DVD's Zune is priced the same as SKY movies £4 a pop, I would rather get a good deal on the mentioned play and amazon sites and pay £4 for a standard DVD that I can keep.
