Some people find it arousing I guess...just like anime, I don't...but whatever floats their boat...it'd be better if they just cut in some porn scenes between normal fights.

I looked closely at the cover and there do seem to be a few guys stuck in there but they look like stereotypical biker perverts and pimps.

Just because it has girl characters doesn't mean it's for perverts. There are much more reasonable ways to get to that conclusion.

The Dead or Alive games are actually decent fighting games. They had counter systems and everything. Sure they had girls with huge boobs that would practically hit there faces when the jumped.

yeah thats far off base there i more male than female characters if i remember correctly and doa is quite a fun game so no people dont just play itr for the girls now doa beach volleyball was just for the girls.

Uh, no, it isn't. It's a respectable fighting series which happens to have a lot of fanservice. (no worse than the camera starting at Cammy's butt in SF4 when she fights) DOA4 was a damned solid fighting game, as opposed to DOA3. DOA2 Ultimate was also a very solid effort that set the standard for a lot of features we have in current gen fighting games, and proved gorgeous 3D fighters can work online. I think may have even been the first online 3D fighter in North America, if not ever. An all female cast doesn't even really indicate that if a guy buys it he is perverted, Arcana Heart is an all female cast, and it's supposed to be a rock solid cult hit fighter.

if there was nudity, sex, or abuse to women in some way then i would agree its for pervs, but its no different that going to the mall standing around checking out the girls exept in this case you kick arse with them. i played doa series once or twice, i like the female characters and ryu, mainly ryu. i like fast fighters with acrobatic moves and ninjas so yeah. does that make me a perv, no i dont "get my jollys off" while playing that game, but the girls looking good sure beats them being ugly, if they were ugly it would be mortal combat...

I will say that, the series creator strictly prohibited the inclusion of nude codes and degrading mini-games in DOA because he didn't want the women to be seen as undignified and degraded. But as far as the sexual appeal goes, yes it is meant to be there. That is just DOA, and there is nothing wrong with appreciating beautiful women - real or computer-generated.

Dead or Alive is a fighting game that does what other fighters won't do... put more females than males... oh and get this... the fighting mechanics aren't bad either...

playing DoA doesn't make you a perv, it just means you like fighters with hot chicks in them... In KOF(my preferred fighter) Of the females I only play with Angel, Vanessa, and Vice... not cause they're hot, but because they have a move set and fighting style which I enjoy using.

I think you mean Rumble Roses, no? DoA is just like most of the rest of the fighters out there, a fair balance of male and female fighters in ridiculous costumes and various stages of undress.

Want pervert? Play DoAX beach volleyball 2 and go check the pole dancing part. Aside this spin-off, the fighting game is pretty fluid and intense. Anyway as someone pointed here everyone's perverted. Some shows it less than the others and no, no exception even with real girls.
