It IS posible to lose gamerscore

Yep its just happened to me i played assassins on my friends xbox 360 (with my hard drive and account) because mine had to be repaired and i got over 800G on it then when i recoverd my gamertag onto my repaired 360 it didnt have the 800G and it says i didnt play the game wtf?

who knows, the only way I know that you can loose your gamerscore is if microsoft deletes it.

well i phoned them just now and they said 'sorry but we have no record of you account on our database', and i didnt know it could be deleted

They can only know about it if you were online when you got the 800G or after (on the same xbox where it had the record of the 800G).

The data is stored on your hard drive, so it's impossible to lose 800G if you've gained it. You must have done, or forgotten to do, something.

Hmm... did you remove or switch hard drives while your Xbox was on, it may have created corrupt data from the game that had lost its gamer score.
