It seems like no one plays Bad Company 2 online anymore, soo where is everyone?

I took a couple of months off from playing Bad Company 2, because my friends that I used to play with all the time since the game was released decided not to play anymore. There always used to be full games even all night/early morning long, and I decided to play again and even bought the Vietnam add-on and it seems like no one plays online anymore.
Soo what's up with that?

This sucks, because Bad Company is a really great game and is like the only game that I have played online except for the first Bad Company, CoD4, and some of Black OPS.

My online hours of gameplay per game:

Bad Company 2 - almost 300 hours,

first Bad Company - just over 100 hours,

CoD4 - just under 100 hours,

Black OPS - under 50 hours.

I was on yesterday after a couple months off as well (on vietnam) and I had nothing but full games the entire time. I haven't played at night though, so I can't speak for that time.

wow, and I just bought it. great....

I still play Bad Company 1 and still get full games, so I really doubt it would be that hard to find full games on Bad Company 2.

I was thinking about getting this game by the end of the week, but I won't download any paid add-on, will I be able to play online or will I be alone?

It seems like the time that I play it is dead, which is between 11pm(pst) - 5am(pst). I have even changed my server/country location online at ea.com from/to United States and Europe and still no one is online. The time I play it is late night in the United States and in Europe during the same time it is daylight soo it used to be alot more people had played months ago when I did this.

maybe ppl got bored of it?

90% of the live community plays Black Ops or whatever the current Call of Duty game is.

It's old and I only played about 40 hours online. Don't know why, no urge to play anymore. I hate Black Ops too.

Maybe there was something up with the servers when you went on TC

I always have full games when I play.

I've been playing a lot of the Vietnam add-on lately. I never have problems getting into games, even late at night. Occassionaly I will get into a lowly populated game though, but quitting and joing another match solves the problem instantly. I always play Rush mode without the Hardcore option. Maybe certain gametypes just get crappy at certain times?

I know it is a problem and is certainly annoying, but it's not as bad as everyone acts like it is. To those of you that just bought the game, have fun. It's arguably the best multiplayer on Xbox Live in my opinion.

2nded, there may be a shortage of players in the wee hours of the am, but still plenty of people to play with during peak hours, and even more if you have all the dlc.

I'm able to find full games at all hours of the day. There was that problem with the servers a few weeks back but that should be completely fixed already.

I wont play after1AM eastern. Its prettydead, not dead but full servers are rare to come by... Playing on Bfbc2 maps with a total of like 12 people is crap. Still a great game.

Cant wait for Battlefield 3...

It's 1am Eastern here, and I'm in a 12v12 right now.

Everyone always says it gets super dead at night, but I haven't had that problem.
