It's a shame

It sucks that the new fall update is just Facebook/Twitter/Last fm crap. I know some people might like it because they actually use these things, but for those who don't, it seems like it's a pointless update. Anyone else mad that they didn't add something cool like the whole NXE thing or party chat or at least something?

I didn't even download it. Not going to ever too.

I was trying to figure out LAst fm and I couldnt see any way to play the music while playing a game. Is it true? Can you only listen to it while looking at the pictures?

I also agree it all seems pointless. I bought my Xbox toPLAY GAMES. If you could use Last.FM while playing a game that would be different.

well what do you expect MS to reinvent xbox live every year. NXE was the first time they ever did anything like that and i really cant see the harm in them adding extra stuff. You may not use it but alot of people will. Dont complain about free stuff!

To those saying don't complain about free stuff: technically this isn't really free. It comes as part of our Gold Membership, which we're paying $5 a month for. Yea I guess that can be seen as the fee to play online, but still.

How does that make it free? I pay $5 a month, and the little updates they actually do to the Xbox wouldn't even exist if we didn't pay for the service. You think that they would have made the NXE experience or given us the facebook/twitter if we didn't pay for Xbox Live? No, it would be like PSN then. So yea, it isn't a free update, it's an update that we can get because we pay for Gold.

yeah I kind of agree with TC. Facebook works fine with a computer but it's clunky on 360. Why on earth would I want to use it there when I just use it on my computer? anyway, its' free so really can't complain.

Meh is all I can say but whatever I wasn't excited or anything. Hopefully next year they add some better stuff.
