If you call them just make sure you have your serial number ready. Also note, the New 3 Year Warranty only covers hardware failures & anything else that goes wrong is still subject to the terms under the 1 Year Warranty or that of an Extended Warranty you may have purchased.

just tell them the problem, adress etc, they will ask you to put it in a plain box ( i couldnt find one!) and ups or whatever will come pick it up
dont leave a game in there! lollewisg1212
Actually they will send you a box with a prepaid label to send it to them. Atleast thats how they have done it the 2 times my console has gone out.
It's been 36 days since I send mine in. I was assured it would take a maximum of 21 days. So after those 21 days I called and they said they were busy so it would take a while still.
It's beginning to get annoying. I don't have much to do right now and they are keeping my 360.
If you're as desperate as me (and have the money) then buy the PS3. Yeh its not too great at the moment but theres a few games that could keep you busy until you receive your box back.
I bought a Wii also but I hate that thing, I'm actually contemplating whether I should give it to my 4yr old nephew.

In Europe they just send UPS the next day after you called to pick up your Xbox. It's allot faster. Supposedly that is. Mine is taking very long right now.
