Anybody else read this yet? When I read it just now, I couldn't believe how many people were sucking up to a company. I mean its not like this is the first time an industry has done something like this before. Autographs always look like sh** on stuff. I'd rather have that Halo helment without all the writing on it regardless if the makers of the game did put their names on it. They're not Gods. Just people. Now I wonder if I send my broken Castlevania Symphony of the night to Konami would they send me the entire series back with their names on it. Including the Soundtracks and what not? *ROFL*

I read a more thorough article on this a couple weeks ago, and it came with pics too, and it was actually very devastating to me. I can feel his pain, as this Xbox had sentimental value to him.

No, I don't care that much about a game-makers autograph, but I can understand how it could have sentimental value to someone else. I mean, there was a freakin' letter sitting on the xbox that basically said, "Please do not remove any of the artwork or writings on the case."

But instead, they scrubbed the whole damn thing down, leaving faint, purple smudges on the case from where the writing used to be. Very sad.

Nope, it wasn't a swap, they literally CLEANED off his Xbox 360's shell. There were really faint, purple smudges of diluted ink from the markers they used for the writings on the shell, which proved that it was the same shell.
