I rented it because everyone was saying how bad some reviews were (I checked and it's pretty mixed). To my surprise there have been many patches already and, at level 35, I am yet to discover any bugs, and only a few graphical jitter here and there. Needless to say, I'm really enjoying the game. I wanted a Diablo clone that had everything, and I got just that. If those were your expectations, you need to try this one.

I wish I could play and chill at the forums at the same time... so yeah, I'm taking a break indeed. The game is great though. It deserved better reviews IMO (8.5 avg or so). Maybe if they didn't send such a buggy version for review...

I got bored of it pretty fast. It's good you found a game to keep you occupied though.

I'm building up my character for PVP son. I won't get bored with that. I hope they include hardcore mode like in Diablo (and the original Sacred) sometime in the future.

I make myself some home made burgers with soda and lots of coffee. I take Zantac so the large ammounts of coffee don't mess up my stomach and I can pretty much play without sleeping until I drop. Not going to stretch it like the old days though, I'm not intending to try and find out what the limit is here (I like this whole "being alive" thing ya know).

of course and it's still hillarious imo. While MMORPG's are addictive. You can't call yourself a real hardcore gamer if you have never played at least one of them for a bit. MMO gaming is state of the art. The gargantuan effort to build and keep and MMO running makes every other development process simplistic by comparison.

I've been thinking about buying Sacred 2. The Gamespot review seemed a bit rough, other reviews were better. Gamespot should have considered that there aren't many games like this for the 360.

Have the problems been worked out with the patches? I'll probably buy the game anyway, I hope I don't end up playing for 18 hours straight though, lol.

The first thing that came to my head was that scene where Cartman asked his mom for "bathroom"

I bought it AFTER 3 patches were already implemented (sacred2.com). The game is working just fine. If you expect Diablo on a console, you got exactly that... and then some (the map is -massive- and it's got PVP along with a great arsenal of neat features... armor sets and unique items also come to mind). All that's missing is hardcore mode.... need now!

Thats a crazy amount of time, beats me easily, but maybe ill check the game out sometime.

And very true about not being a hardcore gamer without checkin ount a MMO, WoW is pretty fun.

ANd the South Park episode is very funny.

Oh and the co-op... oh yes the co-op... the sexy co-op. How come Fable 2 couldn't do this????... It feels so easy and simple in Sacred 2. Molyneux is so full of it.

I'm a huge Diablo fan, and I've been considering picking up Sacred 2 at some point. Not sure if I'd enjoy it or not... really wish they had a demo I could play first!

I think my record is 8 hours in a row on Super Mario World, Dune2, Crysis, Team Fortress2 and Bioshock.

What is wrong with a game that requires just a handful of buttons to play being ported to consoles?? I played Diablo and Diablo2 (and bunches of clones) as much as any fan... But after playing Sacred on 360 (played the original on PC) I can safely say I wouldn't go back to a mouse/keyboard setup for this kind of game.

Hotkeying is basically what makes D2 fun to me at least. Unless they made the controls perfect it would fail. I remember having 8 spells hotkeyed using them all the time..

you can hotkey 12 spells on the gamepad. It's pretty darn slick. I'm telling you, I love Diablo as much as anyone and I'm a PC gamer first and foremost... but they trully nailed it. Of course it's not Blizzard... but come on...

Jasper version is about 3 to 4% fail rate... just about the same as the other consoles. They sold too many of the older chipsets though, many people are sending it multiple times over a couple of years.
