Even though I generally don't mind any kind of gamer, whether they're hardcore or casual. But today marks the day where it exceeded the limit between me and casual gamers and Halo fanboys. Today at school, at lunch, a kid who's been sorta friends with me this whole semester kept asking me why I'm never on Halo 3, and I keep telling him that it's because there are other games I like playing too and H3 isn't exactly the best. But do you want to know his and only response that he has been making to me when he's been asking me that same question over and over again ever since the beginning of this semester? He makes this bratty frown at me and says "How can you not be addicted to Halo 3? Get on Halo 3 today!"
The continuation of the conversation:
Friend: "What's your rank?"
Me: "Sergeant Grade 3"
Friend: "That's sad! Get on Halo 3 more!"
Me: "I've already told you that I've got other games on my 360 that I enjoy more playing!"
Other kids at lunch table: "That's because you're gay *laughs*"
I mean seriously, I like my 360 a lot and even though Halo 3 isn't necessarily a bad game, it's just so overhyped and overrated! And the Halo fanboys, especially at my school...don't get me started on them.
Then I proceeded to make a deal with my friend by saying "If you stop bugging me to get on Halo 3, I'll tell you why I'm never on it anymore." Then he responds by saying "What the hell? That's the only time I've asked you to get on Halo 3!"
Yeah...mmhmm...right...
And in my final period **** he talks to me by the end of the day by saying, again, "You really need to get on Halo 3. And what's so special about Devil May Cry or whatever?" He said this because I added him on my XBL friends list a couple of days ago and he looked at my recent games played and he saw Devil May Cry 4 listed. But after that, one of his best friends (who is seriously one of the biggest dumbasses on the planet) says "Devil May Cry...hmm...Why don't you go play Dungeons and Dragons" Then my friend responds with a dying laughter.
I just posted this topic to notify everyone that I've pretty much had it with casual gamers and Halo fanboys from my school, they consider themselves true gamers but they're really fakers who can't ever be considered true gamers, and by saying "friend" in this topic multiple times, I really meant to say that because I wanted to make sure that y'all understand what was going on with these conversations I had today.
