I played my xbox through a computer monitor for the longest time with vga and hdmi to the dvi port and never had an issue with jaggies. Since i have gotten an hdtv and thought it would look better(it's a panasonic), but there are noticeable jaggies. I've tried both component and hdmi to no avail. I've messed with the sharpness but that just makes the image blurrier and hte jaggies are still there. Is this just an issue with the 360 and a lack of anti aliasing or what? unforntunately my tv doesnt have vga so i can't try that. Is there a setting in service mode or anything that will get rid of this? Kind of disapointing...

Almost every 360 game has jaggies. If you're using a Panny Plasma you actually won't do much better at negating jaggies as they both upscale the image and produce a sharp image as well as any tvs on the market. It sounds to me like you were used to playing on s small screen.

Bigger TV = bigger pixels = more noticeable jaggies.

When I hooked up my 360 to a 15" PC monitor it looked fine, then on my 37" HDTV the jaggies were more noticeable.

Though I reduced the "sharpness" of my HDTV to smoothen the edges, see if that helps.

All 360 games have jaggies, some have no AA, some have 2xAA and others have 4xAA, but to get rid of jaggies, consoles would have 16xAA or more, which isn't the case. What's the size of your computer monitor and HDTV BTW?
