I just watched some videos on youtube about that Home thing on PS3 and well i feel like M$ have really let us down, i don't know why it's just i want Home now....tut..... What are your opinions on Home?
I think it's stupid. Hand out with friends online indoors for hours sitting there watching trailers for movies and chatting. Hmmm the only thing that I could think of that's better is doing anything outside the house with my friends hell even sitting around playing video games with friends over is better then that. I actually think its pretty cool how the home operates just gives u an option to do something else. The games will come just like they had to when we got out 360's it takes time.

Yeah, I'm so jealous. I've always wanted to collect a bunch of in-game crap and display it to my nerd friends and then go watch myself watching a movie in a virtual theater. Damn you Microsoft, you let us down!!!
I gotta admit, HOME got my attention and made me diss Sony somewhat less (I'm a pretty rabid 360 fanboi)... but, In the end its just a fancy menu thing. Its a great boon to people who get the PS3 for other reasons but what *real* use is there for people who aren't really interested in the PS3's other offerings? Well I can make a copy of my self and emote dance to porn when I go to some internet dudes house? Is that really worth paying $1k for? (Australian price) To me its a no but I do notice lots of people getting attracted by the glitter, some of the people in this thread is example enough XD. Ultimaately I think HOME will most definately increase PS3 sales by a small but substantial amount but after people mess around there (HOME) for a while they're going to get *very* bored and either have immense buyers remorse (till the PS3 gets some actual good games on it - thats gonna be a fair while) or really get into the Second Life culture and start pouring money into the thing so they can pimp out their virtual pads. Although thats propably gonna be a very small portion of the public - I reckon anyway. Sorry if I made no sense or used too much parenthesis.. I've been up a fair while..
