Jumping in?

well ive decided that this holiday season I will buy an xbox 360, originally i was going to wait for the release of LO before buying one, but alas i cannot resist...

1.so my question to you guys is, what REALLY is the failure rate of 360's is it as bad as it sounds?

2.and also what games would u recommend. also just to let you know i did not own the first xbox so i never really played halo etc. Are there any good single player games i can buy/look forward too?

3.also since ive never really played online, is it better if i get the core model?

( also i own a ps3 and Wii)

1. Get the elite, or halo edition as they are very reliable

2. Mass Effect, bioshock, halo 3, gears, assassins creed, orange box, and many other games

3. Well, now is the time to play online, because most of the games that are out now will have short campaign, but replayable online

dude dont listen to those ppl, did u no that the RROD only happens to 30% of 360s?, if u keep it well ventilated no prob, so dude GET ITSaintsRowSam

30% would be a massive failure rate.

And since MS hasn't released any offical numbers, where did you get that from?

And for the TC, if you are ever going to use Live (even if it's just Silver) don't get the core.
