Due to the countless, countless stream of bad news for PS3, iv'e had enough. When I compiled a list of games I was intending on buying for the PS3 that are already out or releasing this year, I noticed about 75% of them were multiplat...

Anyway I must have been delusional, I don't think I could save up $700 for PS3+Game to save my life.

Sorry about the rant...but anyway onto my topic...

1 - The 360's controller, I hear the Dpad sucks...badly. This is a big deal to me because I am a big fighting fan and when a certain other Sony flagship fighting game gets announced for the 360, I want to be able to play it in it's full glory like I did on PS2. I know there is a ufighterx mod to easily make it more responsive, but I'd just rather not take the contoller apart. Is there a 3rd party controller out that dosent have a Dpad problem?

2 - The Wifi adapter...this thing is expensive, even on Ebay:| Wheres the cheapest price I can get one of these or a generic? I don't want to use a wired conntection.

3 - Does the 360 controller come with a rechargeable battery?

Thanks.

TBH I think the d-pad on the 360 sucks compared to the PS3 controllor's one, the network adapter is expensive and you'll just have to loive with that. Oh, buy Perfect Dark Zero

1. dpads ok but you will use the thumbstick more.

2. cheapest place ive seen it is in Tesco's or £39.99

3. no but you can buy either a play and charge, quick charge, and /or a single rechargable battery

hope this helps.

1. The D-Pad is just fine... also if you are way into fighting games you might wanna check the DOA4 or madcatz Fight pad/Joysticks... they are great.

2. It's not really all that expensive for the quality you get... I have it and I now have nearly no lag in online play... but if it is too expensive (50-99 $) you can go with any wireless hub on the market.

3. There are 2 options here... the play and charge kit or the quickcharge kits. All are great and can be found inexpensively. The controller you get with the system comes with batteries. Hope that helped

1. Not sure, but if you can find a 3rd party controller that has a better d-pad, you'll be sacrificing the wireless technology because Microsoft hasn't sold the rights of the wireless technology to any 3rd parties as of yet. 2. I use a generic wireless bridge that I got for like 30 bucks. Ultimately it does the same thing but it wasn't as "user-friendly" when it came to setting it up. I had to hook it up to my PC first and install it and change some settings. The wireless bridges on the market that are specifically made for gaming are probably much easier to set up though. 3. No it doesn't, but you can purchase the Play & Charge kit by Microsoft for around $10 and that includes the rechargeable battery.

A good 3rd party controller option would be the Nyko Zero. It's not out yet as far as I know, but it looks like it'll be a great controller. From what I've heard, the D-Pad is a lot better at least :) It should be out in the next couple months at the latest(I would expect).
