If your TV supports HD with the component cables like mine does, just use those. It will run 1080p through component. I have an HDMI equiped 360 and I have used the HDMI and the component and can't tell a difference. So now I just use the component with my 360 and save my HDMI for my PS3, HD DVR, and DVD player.T-AldousIf you clicked the link, you would know he's using a monitor, not a HDTV. As such it doesn't have compenent inputs.. Also, Component cables DO NOT output 1080p signals. TC, your easiest option is to buy a VGA Cable, which costs $35-40 and works great. Or get another xbox. The older models did not support HDMI output.

Thats what I was gonna do first until the thread (linked) suggested better quality from hdmi. How come my system doesn't have a port?
I just bought a refurbished 360 and it freakin lacks an HDMI port (which you guys recomended me to get in this thread :?) I'm all exited to play GTA IV in HD, and I look at the back of my 360 and there's no hdmi port. Is there a cheap solution to this dilema? (and by cheap I mean less than $5.00 > free)best-gam3r
Did you get the Xbox 360 Arcade? If so that model does not come with an HDMI port (I may be wrong so feel free to correct me).
