Okay, I just bought the 360, and I need to know what games I should buy. It's coming in on Monday with Gears of War and Dead Rising, and I know that I'm going to end up buying Halo 3, because, well, it's Halo 3. Aside from that, any game reccomendations? And if anybody says a sports game, I'm running them through a mulcher, Punisher style.
Rainbow Six Vegas has good multi-player and single-player, you should try that.Gadget-Man
I havn' tried that game yet, I think i will buy it soon, anyways also just Ghost Recon Advanced War fighter is good also. It's all a matter of tastes in games and game modes. Like1st person shooter or 3rd. Or if you like shooter games or strategy games. But i recommend Ghost Recon advanced Warfighter or Rainbow Six Vagas considering you already got Gears of War.

you could have just said "i dont like sports games" lol. But i just grabbed Rainbow 6 Vegas its seems pretty fun. Its probably your best choice, also Oblivion if you want an RPG. There isnt much for games untill the fall except for Bioshock which comes out in a few weeks but honestly Dead Rising, Gears, and Oblivion or Vegas will keep you entertained till then.
Try to get a verity of games. There's a lot of shooters for 360 and if you get to many you'll just get bored of em all. Oblivion, DiRT, GH2, plus Gears and dead rising seems like a pretty good stack of games. Maybe buy some arcade games too
Are you going to be playing on Xbox LIVE? If so then you should probably save your money because you'll be playing Gears of War nonstop for the next few months.
If you want a great single player game Oblivion is the one.
rainbow six vegas is awesome, any football games(NCAA08 n All-Pro 2k8 are both awesome), The Darkness(id rend, about 8 hr to beat) and lego star wars is a goofy, fun game, you can get it for about 20 bucks but its alot of fun
a videogame is only a videogame if it has winning eleven with it, so buy it. It was the fist game for my ps, my psp, and now for my 360, you cant go wrong with it. Of course if you hate football just ignore me.
besides that, i just have gears of war that is great and perfect dark zero that came with my 360 and its really nice.

The darkness is a pretty cool game. I just bought it myself and its a game well done!!
I recommend Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Las Vegas, G.R.A.W 2, Oblivion, F.E.A.R, Bioshock, Mass Effect and upcoming games which isn't out until a few months.
