I think just cause looks very good so far. Such a large area is not really a selling point for me though. Since developer resources are limited, and points can be made for using smaller, and more polished worlds. Even though large does fit with the utilization of aircrafts, the parachute, etc.

Actually, have you seen the graphics on this thing? It's quite impressive, and it is polished. It may not look like the HD-TV PS3 style fanatical graphics stuff, but it certainly is beautiful. This game is shaped; not shaping; to be amazing. I will definitely hang out on the small islands! And cities, and best of all, archipelagos.

Pshh ... that's nothing; this new game called Reality puts you on a world with approximately 197 million square miles.

In all seriousness, JC2 looks awesome. Thanks for sharing the video. :)

It had good ideas though and JC2 seems to be more polished. Looking forward to it.

Well GTA: San Andreas' world was roughly 17 square miles. GTAIV's supposed to be smaller.

That doesn't sound right at all. That would mean it was only about 4.1 miles by 4.1 miles in size, and I'm pretty sure both locations are considerably bigger than that.

Hmm... LINK IGN says it's only 13,9 square miles. LINK gta4.tv says it's about 17 square miles. I don't know what to believe.

that sounds sweet but unless theres a fast travel system, games with huge maps can become quite irritating trying to get from point a to b w/o dying when u have to travel a vast amount of land in real time.
