whats the percentage rate for your 360 to get RROD if you have the falcon chip in ur 360?wwe_xbox360
It's still pretty high, actually. I see these threads pop up all the time on different forums and gamespot/faqs with people crying about their new xbox getting RROD or even worse, E74. Of course, this is all speculation, I don't believe any official statements have been released about the newer chipsets failure rate, but I honestly doubt if you compare the numbers they would be much different than the previous chipsets rate. It also seems the newer chipsets have a higher E74 rate than previous versions, too.
If you want my advice, I say sell the xbox on ebay/craigslist and purchase a new one at Best Buy with an Extended Replacement Plan that way when the console does inevitably fail again you can just pop it into BB and recieve a new one that day.
