:) First of all congrats and welcome to the family , i see you got some good games imo. To increase your stars you just have to make more friends , play more online.etc as people will prefer you and after many do your stars will increase and then they would never decrease only if many many many people avoided you. So just keep playing online.:)XxSTILL_BORNxX
although 95% of people wont be bothered, and chances are u have a better chance of being avoided than u do being liked (when you do things wrong, people seem to notice and remember)

im not sure, but i think people *not rating* counts towards your stars
The stars don't really mean anything, and after playing online for a month you will almost certainly have got 5 stars. Once you get them I have never seen them go down.
Having someone prefer you does have a big impact on your stars when you are new. Get 3 people to prefer you and you should get to atleast 4 stars. People not rating you will also gradually increase your star rating, since it is made up of preferred and not rated. So playing lots of COD4 without getting bad feedback will get you 5 stars fast.
Negative feedback or avoiding player should in theory harm your star rating, but as LLCoolKo above prooves, you can have a high % of bad feedback and still have 5 stars. When it says 90% bad, it doesn't mean 90% of the people he has ever played didn't like him, just 90% of the people that could be bothered to rate him. Since a lot of people only rate someone when they are annoyed or a bad loser, a lot more negative feedback is left than positive
