Ohh I forgot to mention... I don't have XboX Live, and I don't plan to suscribe yet..... with that said... what would be your choice??mario_128gc
yeah that really doesn't change much. Both have an epic single player mode, COD4's SP is longer but I would still get gears. You should consider Live though, you are missing on so much fun specially with these two games.
both have a excellent singleplayer, I would go with gears tho. the gameplay is very different and feels fresh. COD4 is 'just' a regular FPS in the end.
Im deffinatly going with Gears. CoD4 is just to much like CoD2 to justify the sixty dollar price. And the campaign is only like four hours long, no co-op and no split screen inline mutiplayer.
I would have to go with COD4 it is by far the best game i have played on the 360 nd to be honest i got bored of Gears very quickly so much so i still havent finished and probably never will.
If I HAD to choose one, Gears of War. They're both awesome games, that came out different years, and Gears of War still manages to look better graphically than any other game out right now, besides maybe BioShock. Sometimes COD4. Imo! Somehow, someway, you gotta find a way to buy both. Or at least buy one, rent the other.
