I'd always play as an Argonian with the Mage birthsign. And then make a custom class for Bows and Magic. It would be awesome!

It depends on what you aim to be. For me Im a Breton Battle Mage born under the sign of the mage 8)

Breton Sorcerer imo. Half damage from magic + skin of metal + a shield + buffed-up magic. Just use a Feather spell to lug around more loot, and in fact you'll be using your magic for nearly everything so better pick a sign that increases your magicka.

Bretons are the best. Because of the magic resistance coupled with some enchantments magic attacks dont work on me at all. 100 percent magic resistance FTW

Lol. My armor gives me 30 percent damage resistance plus 20 reflect dame and spell. I win :D

Worry less about your class, and more on how you set up your major/minor skills.
