I'm not going for it.. I just don't have enough fun playing ranked matches. I play the hell out of player matches though - wish that contributed to achievements, but I play it for the fun of it anyways. Congradulations on getting it though, that achievement takes a certain amount of dedication to achieve.
I agree with hating ranked matches. I really don't like them either and I'm never going to play them again because of how bad the community is.Trickshot771
The community is bad because of the rude mouthed people Im assuming? Its so easy to mute those bothering you. I rather enjoy ranked matches for the challenge and the random opponents. If I got my friends on then Ill use a mic and mute the jerks. If Im playin by myself I dont even bother with the mic. I love ranked for the challenge. Win or lose!
I don't know about you, but I play the game for enjoyment, and if acheivements are along the way, sweet. IF they arn't, I don't bother to look at them.
Before the update where instead of seeing the host's name when you're looking for a ranked match you just see "host", if there were less then 6 people in the room the kills you got didn't count on the leaderboard, but they still counted towards your achivements. I got 10,000 kills, but it only said 8754 on the leaderboards.

not true, those kills didn't register BUT, when you get acheivements, you get some early without stuff not registering. trust me. when I got the nade one, I checked if they registered after every match and they did and I stil got them at 85 kills. do you really think 1/9 of all your kills didn't register? c'mon
Gears of War is a waste of time. Now Halo 3 beta is where its at. I would take the beta over the full game of Gears of Wars bad online which has like 5 weapons and 1 really 2 really game modes since 3 of them are exactly the same.

someone before said it exactly, when 2 or more people drop from the other team your kills from that game dont show up on the leaderboard, but they do count! this is a common misconception. I already got seriously

The player must have got around 1,500 kills outside of the leaderboards. If there is not a minimum of six people in a ranked match, the kills/deaths don't go to the leaderboards, but they still contribute toward Seriously...
