just joined live

i just joined live and well for some reason it doesnt work when i open the live blades it just loads and at the end it says cant log into messenger and so i cant log in. Could it be that if you freshly joined it takes a while for it to register or what?

i wish they would hurry their ass up and fix it. they have known about the problems over the past week or two and obviously did not do enough to fix it and it is all coming to a head now *sigh*

i noticed that things started to get bad after the fall update, might jsut be a coincidence but did anyone else think that?

Nice. I just got an Xbox 360 and redeemed my free month of Gold. Now, it's all buggy for half a week. Thanks for the free headache Microsoft! I guess I'd really be PO'd if I paid $50 for this crappy service. I thought Live was the best thing going in online gaming. It's not getting a very good first impression from me. If the servers are overloaded, they have $50 per year x number of members worth of money to upgrade them.weisguy119

yeah i know at first i thought it was just me that was having this problem because ive been having problems connecting to live for sooooo long and now i finally got it and already knew something bad was gonna happen. I also got the free month so its not that bad. When i tried playing cod4 i could only play free for all but at least it was fun, and after that i tried halo 3 my favorite game and i couldnt even play :(

ive been on xbox live for donkeys years and its a brilliant service.

Things aint going to plan at the moment though. Be patient...

Yeah usally live is as smooth as butter but honestly this is the worst i have ever seen it. Still its a hell of a way to make an impression on new live users 'Sign up to Xbox Live! today! Then you can have the privilidge of waiting for 5 minutes for the dashboard to load! Oh and online games are ****ed, too!'

Its worth it though in the end, stick with it...
