I just found this bundle for like 40 bucks and decided to pick it up.I've looked into these in the past but didnt ever play them. I loved Fallout3, Final Fantasy, and Fableso I figgured I could really get into these. I've head good things about both and was wondering if this was a good deal and which one was better.

Bioshock is still the best game I've played this gen. I never really got into Oblivion but after I'm done with Demon's Souls I going to give it another try.

Bioshock was the first Xbox 360 game that I played and it was just simply fantastic. Oblivion on the other hand was decent it's a fun game but a huge letdown.

I thought they were both good in their own right. However, Bioshock just blew Oblivion out of the water. As for the $40 you spent on the combo. I'm not sure if you recieved a deal or not?

Did the Oblivion come with the DLC as well?

You could have checked ebay to see if there was something cheaper. To me though anytime you can play Bioshock its a good deal;)

I saw a bundle like that at Walmart and I'm not sure if it was Oblivion GOTY edition though.

It isn't. The only way to get the GotY edition right now is to buy it itself.

That is disappointing. I felt the Shivering Isles pack was a nice addition to the game.

for 40 bucks that is a great deal. Bioshock won all kinds of awards and was a pretty sick game. Oblivion is basically Fallout set in the world of oblivion even though Oblivion was developed before Fallout. Great voice acting from Patrick Stuart and Sean Bean amoung other.

When I played Oblivion it was probably the greatest and most immersive RPG I ever played. This gen I think Mass Effect is better than Oblivion, but that is easily a 100 hour experience if not more if you let it absorb you.

As for BioShock. It has an amazing story and atmosphere and some great ideas. But it's basically your typical corridor shooter.

I like both of them a lot though and I think you'll find more than $40 worth of gaming there. It sounds like it was worth it bro!

Just played a marathon session of Bioshock the other day, and after 2 years the game still blows all of these new games out of the water. Hopfully Bioshock 2 will be as good as the original.

I like how people make threads asking if something they've already purchased was a good deal. What difference does it make? You've already bought it.

Bioshock is a great game, and you will find yourself playing it over and over. Oblivion is a really good RPG but it does seem to get a little stale after awhile.

Would love to see a Bioshock / Dead Space Halloween pak...

That's a good deal, Oblivion and Bioshock are both excellent games and will keep you busy for a long period of time. :)
