It's under warranty. Just make sure it's in a well ventilated spot. Pretty basic stuff if you've owned anything electronic before. If it's defective it's gonna fail no matter what you do. Just play it and hope for the best, if it red rings call MS and they'll work with you to get it fixed.
I couldve won an xbox 360 too, butmy mom didnt tell me about the Guitar Hero contest that was going on untilthe exact hour it washappening, the final song was woman on hard, not even expert and the kid onlygot 93%!!When I can FC it!! I was so pissed off.
Also, a tip for your 360,lay it down horizontally, it may not look as good, but it makes less of a risk of it falling over, and scratching thedisc.
