kane & lynch is not that bad....

Just rent it and I like the story and the cut scene on the game. Jeff is right about aiming gun and taking cover stuff, they suck

however, the close combat is nicely done.

anyways overall, I would give the score 7.5 for this game...

i just watched the video review... jeff really tore this game apart... the way he described the game i would have been a lot lower than a 6...ibanezdropd

He really just spoke from the perspective of the other games that are currently on the market. If there was not other great games on the market, I'm sure the game would haven't gotten a higher review, but that's not the case. There are so many AAA titles that are the market that Kane and Lynch doesn't stand out. That's besides the fact that it was over hyped.

i for once liked the game..it wasent as bad as it got from jeff?? i would easly have given it a 8... i mean the graphics arent that bad.. just take an example when it rains..when you gota save your doughter.. the graphics looks really good in that scene..

I bought it last weekend and sent it back today. Too many absolutely infuriating bits. The game had immense potential but its just clunky. You would've thought they'd just transfer the aiming and controls from hitman. I got to havana, and just gave up. Annoyingly hard with the broken aiming, questionable damage detection and a cover system that just doesn't work.

ya kane & lynch is ym next game on my list becosue im hoping for assasins creed and mass effect for christmas so ill buy jane & Lynch with my christmas money

Yeah the aiming was like a ps2 game. It needs more analogue control. The story is kind of cool but I never really cared about what happened to the characters.

If they used AI from gears or RB6V, aiming from Halo, cover from gears or RB6V, and random respond from RB6V, this game would have been a high 9.

Just to bad they didn't put more into it, I really liked the level designs. the online is a really cool idea, but dang why not put random respoawn? It is like this game was original being developed for ps2 or something.

well i dont think that its that bad... but then again i didint give money for the game.. got it from my brother as a gift .. i know i wished he had have bought me mass effect haha :P.. maybe i get it know at chris...

aiming took getting used to. You'd have to be pretty bad at the game not to be able to aim, it's not that difficult. It's not friggen halo where you can unload full automatic fire and kill ten people.

The pistols are better long range and machine guns work but are WAY better short to mid range. You have to know what you are doing.

The cover system does suck. i've only had one major glitch and it was actually pretty cool so i don't really care. It froze once or twice but then 360's are terrible pieces of hardware so it's probably not the games fault. (froze on guitar hero 3 a couple times as well)

This post and many others in the end remind you that this website, after all, is made for kids, teenagers and fanboys who are going to be happy as long as they "shoot stuff" ...God that is sad.

After all why would i be surprised? If you read user reviews on this website of high profile games before GS scores them they are all 10 and 9 no matter what crap it is.
