Only 1.04 right now, but I used to not care about k/d ratio and just did the old run and gun, until like 2 weeks ago (I had like a .80 something ratio then haha). Now I get more kills than deaths every round.
k/d is gonna vary depending on what type of game the player plays. some people may play headquarters and just hide by the spot and pick everyone off, which will give them a much higher k/d ratio. pretty much the only gametype i play is free for all, and from my experience the good players in that gametype have a k/d ratio around 1.5. mine's 1.64. but of course, u can still raise ur k/d if u just sit there and camp every game, but if u do that then ur win percentage will be very low, and it will take longer to get kills. so really, dont pay too much attention to the k/d ratio because everone plays the game differently and plays different gametypes.
mine is .92. im the idiot running around like crazy. still fun though. i just usually get around 1 for k/d cept on wet work where i get like a 3:1 ratio
I just wanted to add my input, I agree with Soul2Squeeze... If you are going to post your k/d ratio at least provide what map type/s you play most often. Hardcore maps are harder to get good ratios (I think) because its so easy to die, and most people resort to the run and gun method of play. (It also seems that more people complain in this map type because the run and gun method doesn't work as well as the camping or tubing methods. Some people don't even consider these methods valid tactics!) Also putting the number of kills and deaths you have helps because then we can see whether your ratio is due to a trend over a long period of time or because you have just started and haven't leveled out your k/d ratio yet. The more k/d you have the less likely your k/d ratio will change.
1.71 Most people who have a high K\D ratio are the people that drove me away from the game aka giant CAMPERS, you know the kind of people who have 3 spots on every map and never move.
