I would recommend that you keep your 360, PLUS that's exactly what I did. I still own my multiple 360s.
Besides, BC is limited and not going to be all 360 titles. They have nearly 100 planned for this November, but we can't expect all the games nor have they promised that. Especially since we've seen many publishers have said no or opted out of Xbone BC.
There is also emulation problems to deal with, install and download issues which create a HDD space problem on your Xbone.
Other missing publishers that are currently not on the Xbone BC list:
-Atlus,
-Activison,
-Blizzard,
-TellTale,
-Aksys Games,
-505 Games,
-Devolver Digital,
-Zen Studios,
-Paradox Interactive,
-Konami,
-Rockstar,
-and more...
There is some notable Publishers not on that BC list like Konami (Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid), Activision (Guitar Hero, Tony Hawk, Call of Duty, Skylanders), and Rockstar (Bully, Max Payne 3, Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Revolver) to name a few. Activision's Call of Duty series btw, is the #1 most requested BC series from consumers last I read. Even with some publishers on the official BC list, it will still be a game by game process whether the publisher decides which of their games are allowed or if the game will work. Capcom for instance may sign up, but may choose to be picky on what 360 games they allow for example (not to be taken literally for Capcom).
Let the lesson of the 360 BC remind you how things will play out (360 ended up with about 50% BC) @koolyoe:
