l will start loving Halo 3 from now on.

While I agree that graphics don't determine if a game is good or not, I will say that it sure as hell helps, it's just the icing on the cake.  Halo and Halo 2 were both great looking games, in terms of scale and atmosphere, so I personally disagree with your comment on how "Halo is not know for its unbelievable graphics".

shut up about graphics noob, its about gameplay. Pac-man is still a great game in my book. I am so tired of talking to people about graphics. Who Cares? Gears of War was a total upset to me gameplay wise, but the graphics were good. But it did not make up for it. Halo is not known for its unbeleiveable graphics either. sgpicker

I do. All this talk about gameplay > graphics is true but it's getting rediculous. Just because gameplay > graphics doesn't mean graphics = unimportant. It makes the experience more enjoyable and more fun when the graphics are great and there is allot of eyecandy.

exactly.  graphics are just as important as gameplay if you ask me.  they are the first thing that draws you into a game.  they are the first thing you see in previews and everything.  i mean you dont get to try out the gameplay before you experience the graphics.

True, but Halo 3's graphics do look Next Gen.  So its a win win.
