I thinks he's referring to the DLC The Passing that is soon to be released. It was said that you would meet up with the original survivors from the first L4D and that one of the original survivors will die at the end.

It's been heavily rumored to be Bill, since all of the other voice actors have recorded new lines except for bill just like he didn't have new lines in Crash Course. So it's easy to just kill him off because the voice actor didn't return. I hope it is him!
